CHARM IT! Photo Props

Last weekend I had my very first photo booth experience at my cousin’s wedding. It was so much fun! I felt liberated making the silliest faces I could muster, while wearing a mustache and a hot pink boa! Normally, I’m shy in front of the camera, but there’s just something about a photo booth that brings the silly right out of you!

Photo booths typically cost hundreds of dollars to rent and you walk away will only a few pictures. Why can’t we create our own, and take as many pictures as we want, and have even more fun? Well, you can!

This is a great activity to do with your kids whether it’s a birthday party, or gathering of family or friends.

There are just a few things you need with the most important being a few silly kids (adults also welcome) who are ready to have a good time! Other things you will need include:

1.

Backdrop:

Create a one with a wall of streamers or balloons or keep it simple and take pics against a solid color wall or hanging sheet.

2.

Camera:

Use any camera, even your phone camera will do! Take turns being the photographer, or if you have professional camera and a tripod, you can set it up to take photos remotely.

3.

Props:

Since photo booths are all about capturing silly and goofy pictures, props play an important role! We created CHARM IT! Inspired Photo Props, which you can download and print for free! Simply print and attach to a wooden dowel with tape.

The best part is viewing all of the pictures at the end. You can print the pictures and create a photo album for your viewing pleasure and anytime! Get ready for your close up!
