DIY “Letter to Santa” Ornaments

Decorating the Christmas tree is one of my all time favorite things ever. I love to unwrap each ornament and reminisce “I got this when” or “so-and-so gave me this the year I…”. Without fail, I have been known to shed a tear here and there. I can’t help it! The sentimental sweetness of it all just gets me.

The ornaments that mean the most are the ones with a story behind them. Handmade ornaments, forget it. Handmade ornaments that have to do with my daughter, please pass the tissues!

If you are like me, you will adore hanging this little tear jerker every year! Turn you children’s Letters to Santa into keepsakes. Simply cut the letter into strips, roll, and place them in a clear ornament!

Don’t stop at a Letter to Santa, create this ornament with anything that has sentimental value: wedding invitations, a favorite poem, children’s book excerpt, etc.

Sniff, sniff!

I am excited to make the letter to Santa Claus Ornament with both of grandchildren. It will be an ornament that they can look back on when they are older.
