Chocolate Filled Strawberries…

Send off the summer and celebrate Labor Day (or any day for that matter) with Chocolate Filled Strawberries! These are an easy, delicious and different take on chocolate covered strawberries that will have party guests asking for seconds. Just think, with all of the chocolate options and M&M colors out there, these berries can be customized for any occasion! Feeling a little patriotic, I opted for a red, white and blue theme with peanut M&Ms and dark chocolate.

Try it yourself and be prepared to answer, “How did you do that?” Simple…

What you need:

  • 24 strawberries (washed and cored)
  • 1 bag of chocolate chips
  • 1 bag of M&Ms
  • Chocolate Filled Strawberries Close Ups

    Steps:
    1. Stem and core the strawberries (the deeper you core, the more chocolate they will hold).
    2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds to start. Stir and microwave for a few more seconds if needed.
    3. Put the melted chocolate in a piping bag (I made my own with a zip lock bag).
    4. Pipe the melted chocolate into the center of each strawberry
    5. Place an M&M in the center
    6. Rest strawberries on a parchment paper covered baking tray
    7. Place the tray of strawberries in the fridge for 15 minutes until they harden
    8. Lick the spoon while you wait

    Chocolate Filled Strawberries are Delicious!
